OPIC-​Loans: The Process

Ver­tical Optim­iz­a­tion, LLC is a loan ori­gin­ator for OPIC. As such, we assist com­pan­ies to secure OPIC fin­an­cing. OPIC provides eli­gible US entit­ies the fin­an­cial sup­port needed to develop invest­ment oppor­tun­it­ies overseas. 

As such, we are able to assist qual­i­fied US entit­ies to raise cap­ital by way of loans for over­seas invest­ment through OPIC. We can assist cli­ents with loans from $100,000 to $250Million.

Our job as Ori­gin­at­ors is to provide the busi­ness devel­op­ment ser­vices needed to bring com­pan­ies to the “threshold of invest­ment” at which point insti­tu­tions such as OPIC (as well as other banks and fin­an­cial insti­tu­tions) can con­sider them viable tar­gets for funding.

Ver­tical Optim­iz­a­tion, LLC does not have the power or author­ity to approve or deny loan applic­a­tions; our job is to assist you in get­ting to that decision point by the lenders. The same goes for busi­ness devel­op­ment assist­ance (grants). Our job as Ori­gin­at­ors is to provide the most com­pel­ling case (within our cap­ab­il­ity) for busi­ness devel­op­ment assist­ance and to provide the ser­vices, if & when approved.

OPIC makes the ulti­mate decision as to what to sup­port. How­ever, as trained and des­ig­nated Ori­gin­at­ors, we assist you in pre­par­ing the doc­u­ment­a­tion needed to access these ser­vices.
